Study Session in the Studio

A studio session with a few friends at BK Photo Studios for a fun shoot

Ive been wanting to do create some work the for quite some time. More so after I saw this studio space with the bookcase backdrop at Bk Studios and I certainly was excited to have this creative experience with my friends Missy and Kim.

Initially I my intent was to focus on the bookcase for the background, but when I enter the space the first thing that drew my eye was that evening light beaming through the window. That golden glow was incredible and the two of them really shined. Something of focus was how much the light revealed but also invoke a form of mystery with the shadow that were cast, in grid the frame created or the silhouette the was created

But beyond the light we took a look at the main backdrop which was the bookcase. Using it was such a blast and we really made great use of it. It photograph became its own scene with it own feeling and story behind them. Be it in that in the search for a good read shuffling across that spines of each book, climbing to the top of the ladder or exploring the the pages
